When Fritz Thyssen was asked "Do you want to help destroy Hitler or not?", his reply was "Yes". He wanted to stop the monster he knew he helped create.
During the outbreak of war in September, 1939, Fritz Thyssen, a great German industrialist, fled Germany to Switzerland in fear. He was aware that many were after him, and that many were especially interested in the memoir he had written; a memoir that was viewed as the true story of his rapture with Hitler.
Hitler's Angel is the words of Fritz Thyssen explaining his role in Hitler's rise, along with his fear for his life. This is a story that many wish were fiction.
